Overview

Rex believes that the words and choices we choose have far more power, once spoken, than most people realize. Words either bring blessings, or curses. Our free will, choices, likewise.
He believes that our thoughts form our belief system and out of the abundance of our heart, the mouth speaks. What we speak forms our walk...our walk shapes our character...our character, ultimately pre-determines our eternal destiny.
Idle, corrupt words are from Satan and produces curses; words spoken that are 'lovely, just, pure, honest, and of good report, are from God and results in blessings.
At the conclusion of our lives, WE each, determine our eternal destiny, heaven or hell, thus, "Words and Choices" do form the issues of life.

About the Author

Rex was born in Immokalee, Florida, eighty years ago to a very Christian, conservative family that he admits, shaped his Christian values and his moral structure.
He graduated from Immokalee High School in 1956 and then received his BA degree in psychology with a minor in sociology from Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., in 1960.
Rex went on to volunteer for military service with the US Army during the Vietnam “conflict” and was trained as a medic, then was recycled by Brooke Army Medical Corp at Ft. Sam, Houston, Texas, to teach all the medical classes he successfully completed to the battalion he was assigned to.
Shortly afterward, he was assigned to the Brooke Army Mental Hygiene Clinic where he spent approximately thirty months evaluating the mental health for all in his battalion for a psychiatrist and a social work officer. He received a “letter of commendation” and a “letter of appreciation” from his commanding officer at his expiration of term of service in 1964.
The author has a son, Pat, age fifty-five, whose passion is in writing and composing music, residing in SAT.
Rex has a daughter, Melissa, forty-eight, residing in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., and works as a dental hygienist.
Rex has been married to his helpmate, Sarah, now for forty-four years, and she is a highly talented artist.
They both reside alternately in Lehigh Acres and Naples, Florida, and currently attend Grace International Ministries under the pastoral leadership of Steven Bowe.
The author firmly believes that God the Father (not himself) created this book and anointed and commissioned it for such a time as this.
Rex added that: “man creates nothing other than havoc and confusion,” and that ONLY God creates. What is good, holy, and righteous.
The author fully believes that he is no more than a fully, yielded vessel, or “conduit” for God to express His DIVINE WILL through Rex’s FREE WILL and His fingers . . . nothing more than this, in Jesus’s Holy Name!
Words and Choices: These are The Issues of Life is fully dedicated to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior,” for God’s HONOR exclusively.
Rex enjoys writing and teaching God’s word, bringing the lost to Christ . . . fishing, playing chess, and living a simple, FOCUSED, life.
