Overview

In this heartwarming story, Wookiwoo is a happy little green bird who has found a new friend named Jack. Wookiwoo is always there for Jack as he grows up to be a young man. In time Jack outgrows his pet and sets him free. Wookiwoo meets up with Lu Lu, another parrot he knew from the pet store and they have a family of their own. The ending connects friendship, letting go, and those three little word "I Love You, in unconditional love.

About the Author

Darren Perman received his Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication from California State University Fullerton. He was inspired to write Wookiwoo, I Love You after a family of wild amazon parrots landed in a tree in the backyard of his home town, Malibu, California. Darren is married to Ruby Perman, who illustrated the beautiful parrots and brought their playful personalities to life. Darren and Ruby live in Dana Point, California with their two children.
