Book Reviews R US - Stephanie Rollins
This is not just an Amish fiction book. This is also a historical fiction novel. This is not a fluffy, feel-good book that is typical to the Amish fiction genre. There is a lot of depth to it.
The ending had me completely shocked and slightly distressed. I thought about this book for days after finishing it. This book is one to read and remember.

With wonderful character growth, Newport takes us along on this journey where we feel the joys and pains of the people. A story that will stay with you.
RT Book Reviews - Patsy Glans
This new historical series has a love story, intrigue and spiritual upheaval, with well-thought out and emotionally diverse characters. The storyline flows evenly and is believable; there are some Amish who do question what their bishop preaches to the community. Newport's novels touch upon issues the Amish don't discuss much outside their community.
