This place, this world seems infinitely dark now that they are gone. Death follows me like the plague and my mind is haunted by memories of their faces, of my mother laying in bloody sheets after being murdered and the image of my sister reaching for me with the face of a monster. I cannot tell what is real anymore, the voices I hear, the images I see of a woman lurking in a red mist that reeks of iron, it is splitting my mind. Where is he? Where is my father?! If anyone could make this right, it would be him, but they say he is responsible. No. I will not believe it. There is more to his disappearance and I am going to find out exactly what it is, no matter the depth of his secrets and even if I must go on pretending that life is worth living.
