About the Author

Polly Frost is an author, playwright and journalist who lives in New York City with her husband, Ray Sawhill. Polly's humor has been published in numerous magazines including The Atlantic, The New Yorker, Grin & Tonic and Narrative. Sixteen of her humor essays can be found on the Barnes and Noble Review.

Polly's humor has been selected for The New Yorker "best of" anthologies "Disquiet, Please!" and "Fierce Pajamas" and in the recent humor anthology "Humor Me" edited by Ian Frazier.

In addition to humor, she also writes erotica and horror fiction. Polly's story collection, "Deep Inside," was published by Tor in 2007.

Her play "The Last Artist in New York City" (co-authored with Ray Sawhill) was selected for "Best American Short Plays 2008-2009." Their comedy "Sex Scenes" ran for three years at NYC's Cornelia Street Cafe and is now available as a CD and as a download. Polly's writing has also been anthologized in Maxim Jakubowski's Mammoth Books of Best Erotica, in his Sex in City New York.
