About the Author

Elise McSwine has published her first children's book. She has written stories for many years and taught creative writing to her elementary school students. Elise lives in Plainfield, Illinois where she enjoys nature, art and photography.Winston Hough was a Michigan-born and Chicago based artist. He graduated from the School of the Art Institute in 1955 with a degree in Drawing, Painting and Illustration. His work spanned six decades from Abstract Expressionism to his later Representational Period. Winston worked in watercolor, acrylic, oil, and pastel. His first interest as a young artist was in cartooning and illustration. Winston's Hiding Place is his first children's book.
