About the Author

I grew up on a small, family farm in Salisbury, Vermont. I graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in English, and then moved to South Portland, Maine.Having grown up with donkeys and goats, I always wanted to have a farm of my own. After a few years of working in the corporate world, I realized it wasn't what I wanted to be doing. My husband and I moved out of the city to the country. There we started our farm, Mini-Hooves Farm. From a young age I had a passion for reading, writing, animals, and nature. And when you have a farm there are countless stories waiting to be told.
