As a young competitor myself I know the stress of being not quite sure of myself. Now as a Horse Show Mum, and now Grandmum, there is nothing better than watching your young equestrian come out of the ring with a big smile knowing they had fun, no matter the ranking. Many years of watching young riders compete, being there to make sure the experience was positive and holding a tired horse while they are brushed and loaded for the trip home has been a fulfilling experience.
