About the Author

Mark Berry is currently an assistant men’s basketball coach at Chandler Gilbert Community College in Gilbert, Arizona, and teaches courses in mathematics and financial planning and investments at San Tan Foothills High School in Queen Creek, Arizona. He is also the mathematics department chair at his high school. He has been an assistant basketball coach for 12 years, with experience at Seminole State College (OK), Phoenix College, and South Mountain Community College (AZ) before his most recent position at Chandler Gilbert Community College. He has been coaching summer basketball camps since 1993 while picking the brains and learning coaching strategies from Lute Olson (Arizona), Rick Pitino (Kentucky), Dale Brown (LSU), Gary Williams (Maryland), Denny Crum (Louisville), Jim Harrick (UCLA), and Rob Evans (Arizona State). In 1999, Rob Evans promoted him to director and supervisor of his summer camps.
