Somewhere between raising two kids and daydreaming about being a reality-television star, she writes. As a reader, she enjoys books filled with arrogant boys, who she would never waste her time on in real life, and large fantasy or paranormal novels. Much of her love for these things is reflected in her books.

Lucinda Dark is the author of the Barbie: The Vampire Hunter series and the Nerys Newblood series. Also known as Lucy Smoke for her contemporary romance, she is a lover of books, good food, and animals. Nick Mondelli is an accomplished actor, poet, and audiobook narrator from Ohio. He has narrated a wide range of titles, including Willa Cather's My Antonia, Patty Blount's The Way It Hurts, and Paula Garner's Phantom Limbs, which AudioFile Magazine called a sensitive, expressive performance. He currently lives in Los Angeles, where he works out of his in-house studio.
