About the Author

Liam Kelly is the creator behind ‘The Wonderful World of Worried William’. He is a teacher, author, poet, comic book creator, and a Woodle Doodle Artist. His books tell the story of his childhood and how he was able to stay silent for so long.
“It worries me that children are still silent today because they are scared to talk about how they truly feel.”
Liam Kelly
All the ideas for Liam’s books originated from his childhood and the person he wanted to be as a child and teenager. Liam hopes that his stories start the conversation about children’s mental health.
Liam originally penned the idea of Worried William during a school half-term in October 2015.
Worried William is the first book in the series.
The last book being in the series will be called Wonderful William to highlight the fact that you can manage your worries
and be successful in life.
Liam Kelly currently lives in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. He is originally from Moneyglass, Northern Ireland.
"I always wanted to tell people how I felt when I was younger, but the words were always silent. For the first time in my life, I am able to tell my story."
Liam Kelly
