Does hilariously analytical sound like an oxymoron? After you laugh you might think what you're laughing about makes a lot of sense. Noah's wife could logically not be in the best of moods a few days into being stuck in a dark ark with smelly animals. You might question the wisdom of three wise men who brought valuable gifts across the desert and then disappeared. You will enjoy the conversation between Mary and her friends when she returns with a baby and valuable gifts. It is pointed out while Samson was strong, he must have been intellectually challenged. God might not be dead, but are He and Jesus on vacation? The possibility of incompetent Guardian Angels is explored. After reading the book you will never look at those signs that proclaim: 'John 3:16' without a smile. Mixed in with other humorous Bible stories is a prayer that will but guarantee you will never again be asked to say grace. A few cartoons are tossed in to add additional humor for those who are not easily offended.

I was selected by Tom Weaver to do a cover illustration for this ebook. I was happy to take on the assignment because I read his book and found it very enjoyable. Not only is this a funny look at what we've been taught about religion from our early childhood days, but it's also very good analysis. It gives us good reason to question some of these early religious teachings. It isn't a mean book, however. It tackles the subject with good-natured humor.
