The stories may seem outlandish and unrealistic, but most of them are based on true events.

Gary Yao is the pen name of Yugang Yao, the author of Modern Eden, Deadly Love and others. He was born in Guizhou Province, China in 1958. He studied medicine in his early years and came to the United States in 1987. Currently, he lives and works in New York City.
