I started photography in 1996 before digital, yes I know, it sounds weird right!
My first photo was in dead center of PCH Highway in California, I don't recommend running out across that freeway nowadays!
That was the spark that started the raging fire for me. My shots and style became notorious, untouchable and scandalous! I suppose some day Ill have to write a novel about it, yes it was that crazy good. Keep in mind, I have work that varies from felines to fetish, bands to boudoir, nature to nudes, madness to marriage. The titles are clearly described so you will know if it is not for you or just for you. Enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them! I still do photo shoots just not full time nowadays.
I am a Native Californian, born and raised. I've toured across the US doing photography, my work has appeared in 1000's of event photography, bands, magazines and coffee table books.
My work has been called breathtaking, controversial and scandals but to me everything is an expression of art that expresses each individual's perception of its mind's eye. To me it's still art. My camera and writings were always a paradise outside of the dark skeletons and atrocities forever hidden inside. I'll be honest with you, some of you will hate and despise my work, others may accept it and the remaining will relate to it in some fashion.
I'm not asking you to accept my work ...or even like it. After all, it is my perception of the world and has found its way through camera for the world to see. Before you proceed through my collections I ask that you please read the following, as my work may offend some and not be appropriate for young ages. My work is intended for adult individuals who are curious or into the real and alternative lifestyle. This is nothing you will read or see on a television documentary as they do not have 29 years' experience in this underground lifestyle.
All photos, interviews and stories are from real people who accept and are treated within the limits which they set forth, which means 'Safe, Sane and Consensual'. My work was not published to exploit, judge or portray anyone as a 'freak show'. Some of the photos, stories, poems may be offensive, shocking and unbelievable but this is the true underground scene documented where all parties have participated on their own free will.
Some names and faces have been modified to respect their privacy and trust. All participants have signed proper legal documents to abide by the state law. As you view and read this work it will be hard not to pass judgment. I ask that you keep an open mind, as you will never know who is in this alternative lifestyle.
