Wicked Wrong
“What is life without knowledge? What is knowledge without imagination? April dives into the pool of creativity, and uses life, knowledge, and imagination to create a world filled with magic, mayhem, love, and unforgettable characters.” —Nicole Spencer

Seventeen-year-old Felicity Marianne McKaughnalin, aka Lissy, had an average if not disappointing life. Her father left when she was five, her mother remarried to Ron, a real winner, and she was lacking both friends and a boyfriend. Sent to live with her grandmother in Ireland, she wasn’t expecting her luck to suddenly change…but she also could never have predicted what was about to happen in Ireland, and beyond.

Barely off the plane, Lissy’s life is catapulted into a world of mischief and magick—she discovers the truth about her heritage, new friends, abilities beyond her imagining, and true love. With the help of a few odd allies, including ehlves, witches, pixies, dawdlers, a gnolf, and a most unusual cousin, she unravels the secrets of her life and battles the Dark forces that stalk her family like a sleek black panther. The real question is whether or not she can embrace the world of magick and protect those that she loves, without losing herself in the process…

About the Author

April Shadduck, author of the “Mischief and Magick” series, lives in the foothills of the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado. By the age of twenty-two, April had spent five years of her life caring for the most precious people on earth, our elderly population. As a dedicated personal care provider and a qualified medication administrator, she was reminded daily that life is short. This realization prompted her to pursue her true passion: writing.

As a young girl, April wrote and “directed” many of the plays and skits that she and her siblings performed. Sketching, painting, and writing poetry have also been important creative outlets for her. She now spends her days spinning tales that take teens and young adults into imaginary worlds of fantasy and romance. April’s message is an inspiration to young and old alike: “Follow your heart, be true to yourself, and never ever give up on your dreams.”
