Overview

This story is about the dangers of being self-centred and lazy. It features a a Camel who hangs out all day doing nothing apart from admiring his wonderful flat back; whilst the Horse, Dog and Ox work extra hard because of his idleness. They all "take the hump" and ask for help. It comes immediately and at once in the Magical form of the Djinn of All Deserts.
Sheila has brought Kipling's Classic work into the C21st without losing any of his poetry or humour. Brilliantly illustrated with four large full colour images per double page spread, theses books make ideal bedtime reading either alone or with an adult.
She has poured her artistry and love of the Natural World into these books hoping they will encourage future generations who read them to draw on their OWN creativity and write, draw, or simply enjoy life - "Just So"

About the Author

Sheila Graber (as in a Grey Bear) is an artist, animator and teacher with a deep empathy for all animals. In another life she would probably have been a Shaman! The self portrait was drawn into a computer via a graphics tablet when she was 55. She was commissioned to create a series of animated films for World TV based on Rudyard Kipling's "Just So Stories" These books are based on the hand painted art work created on plastic "cel"for that series.
