About the Author

Robert Sky Allen, Ph.D., is a community psychologist who believes that children are of infinite worth and value. As an addiction therapist working in a community mental health center near Chicago, Illinois, his mission is to prevent addictive behaviors from passing to the next generation. He wants to empower children everywhere to use their intelligence, gifts, and talents to chart a substance-free course for their lives. Dr. Allen also is the author of "I Am Not A Foot," a children's book about empowerment, and is a proud husband, father of three, and grandfather of seven.
