About the Author

Stephen Bullivant is professor of theology and the sociology of religion at St. Mary's university, Twickenham, where he directs the Benedict XVI Centre for Religion and Society.

Catherine Knowles is a research associate at the Centre for Education Studies, University of Warwick, Coventry, an associate faculty member of Maryvale Institute, Birmingham, and a member of the social research unit, at the Portsmouth Catholic Diocese in the United Kingdom.

Hannah Vaughan-Spruce is regional coordinator of divine renovation UK and is completing her PhD on parish culture and evangelization at the Benedict XVI Centre for Religion and Society.

Bernadette Durcan studied theology and sociology at St. Mary's University and holds a master's degree in social science research methods from the University of Liverpool.
