Born in New York City, Sue Tarsky lived and worked as a children's book publisher for many years in London. She now lives and works in Chicago.

Michael Garton graduated with a BA Hons in Illustration in the UK and is an experienced children's illustrator. He lives with his girlfriend and their dog in the UK where he enjoys his work and the beach.
