If I have to say something about my self I guess it would be I do enjoy being with family, friends, and pets having fun. Being very active a game of chess is a change of pace, or watching some sporting event or good movie on occasion. Working in my masonry/ landscape design business has always been an enjoyment and a bit of a struggle as is any job. Quite an interesting name changed came about 10 years ago. One day I decided to change the name of the business from my personal name to a more professional tone. The thought was to use the bible to fine a more descriptive name to tie in with what the business does, such as Noah's home carpentry - for example. While flipping pages in pursuit of this new name an inspired thought came to take something from the Old and New Testaments. After pondering a while the words Rock Vine came into mind - It was perfect for what I was looking for.
The rock was for masonry part of the business, while the vine would be for the landscape part of the business. No one to my knowledge had ever joined those to names together at least for business. Within moments I realized there was spiritual overtones which emerged from this new name. The more I contemplated it, the more it became a wonderment about the spiritual overtones. And so the outcome of this name Rock Vine gave me great delight. Being off all winter due to a three season work schedule there is some time to write when I feel so inclined. Also belonging to the Gideon's International there is always much to do as we pass out bibles when ever possible. All in all in my mind I believe everyone should read at least something from the bible everyday, even if it is only a verse or two. For within the pages of scripture lies great truth, wisdom, and mercy which offers life eternal for anyone so chooses to pursue such.
