About the Author

Abbaliese Livingston was born and raised in a military family in California. From an early age, she enjoyed writing and creating various stories and art media. She is a talented artist and writer, costume and clothing designer, decorated volunteer and leader, and baker. While she fell out of writing in middle school, high school challenged her writing skills in Advanced Placement classes to create compelling analysis, stories, critical and creative thinking, as well as a passion for literature.
During her time in high school, Abby was a part of her school’s Air Force JROTC program, Girl Scouts, and Band as well as volunteered her free time at the local military medical facility in the Radiology department where her mom worked when she was active duty and just downstairs from where she was born. Abbaliese’s ultimate goal has always been to join the medical field but has invested in her various hobbies. While in her AFJROTC program, Abbaliese was sponsored to travel across the country to the AMVETS leadership summit in Valley Forge (2017), earned an AMVETS national Leadership award (2019), and graduated as one of the top ranking officials as the 21st Squadron Commander. While passions have always been seen towards the military and medical fields, Abby can’t ignore her other passions for the Arts and creative world as well.
Her achievements didn’t stop after graduating High School though. Less than a year after graduating she earned the Gold Presidential Award for volunteer hours, a national award signed off by President Trump in honor of her thousands of hours of volunteer service through her hospital work, JROTC, and girl scouts.
She continues her education at the local community college and plans to transfer to one of the local UCs so that she may further her career path in the medical field.

“Everyone and anyone can build upon any and all skills and passions. It is the willingness to try and fail that leads to success. Without struggle, there can be no growth.”

— Abbaliese Livingston.
