About the Author

Terri Britt Watts, originally a native of Ahoskie, North Carolina was born in January to the late Frank and Daisy Britt. Terri graduated from Ahoskie High School, now known as Hertford County High, in 1978. She left Ahoskie and joined the military, where she served for 20 years. Terri later retired from the Army, December 1, 2000, and attended Fayetteville State University and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She then earned a Special Educational Teacher’s Licensure and taught Special Education for nine years. Terri attended graduate school and obtained a Master’s Degree in School Administration. Terri finally fulfilled her long-life dream of becoming an author. She published six books, titled, The Other Side Of My Prayers, Confronting The Guilt Of My Past, Your Body Is Your Temple, Bitter Root, Bitter Root II and her newest release, Where Is Willie? She shares an abundant life with husband, David. Together they share four children and eight grandchildren. Terri’s hobbies consist of reading her Bible, walking, bike riding, light weight lifting, mentoring adolescents, swimming, sewing, writing, cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends. Terri currently resides in Savannah, Georgia with her husband, David.
