Overview

In a world with stark lines between heroes and villains, trifling with morals or loyalties could cost your life. So someone really should tell Star that seducing his nemesis Nightingale would not be very heroic and that he should probably stop before they both catch feelings.

Night was supposed to be a hero, just like Star. His chemical makeup should make him the perfect definition of a 'hero, ' but his crimes tell a different story. Throughout his career as a public menace, he leaves a trail of clues that point toward a future horrific massacre-one that neither Night nor Star would survive. As Star pieces together Night's mysteries and advances on Troy's headquarters, Star realizes that the only one able to save them might not be willing to.
