When There Were Gods
I was born in England in the early 1960s. My father was English and my mother was Irish. When I was six my parents, my older brother and I moved to Australia. We lived in Australia some five years and then when I was eleven we moved again to Canada. We lived in St. Catharines, Ontario right up to the very early 1980s. These years had much influence on my early life as I learned to appreciate the North American way of life.

Then in 1980 we returned to Australia. This was mainly due to the weather. There is no beating Australia for its great climate. I have not seen a snow flake since leaving Canada.

Now, some thirty years on, I have worked in the banking industry here in Australia my whole working life. I have three great kids aged 24, 18 and 16 (boy, girl, boy) whom I love very dearly. I am great friends with my ex-wife.

All in all, I feel I have experienced a lot of the world and have learned to appreciate what different cultures offer. The North American way of life is slightly different to that of Australia, but each has its own true charms.
