About the Author

Kenneth L. Osborne is an author, consultant and expert in addiction treatment/behavioral health and corrections. He has worked in these professional arenas more than 20 years, possessing state, national, and international certifications in addictions counseling. A Certified Public Manager, Kenneth most recently served as Chief Administrative Officer for the largest totally dedicated prison-based addiction treatment program in North America. He provides training and technical assistance for SAMHSA, CSAT, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the Bureau of Justice Assistance to state prisons throughout North America that receive Residential Substance Abuse Treatment funding. Kenneth is recognized as one of America’s Premier Business Leaders and Professionals in Princeton Honors Registry for 2009-2010. He holds a master’s degree in chemical dependency counseling and provides training and technical assistance around the globe on a variety of topics. Kenneth, and his wife Kimberly, reside in Illinois just outside Chicago.
