About the Author

Meredith Madden hails from New Hartford, NY. She has lived in various places over her adult life and has come to call many of them home, such as New York City, Ithaca, NY, Martha's Vineyard, and Galway, Ireland. Meredith is a graduate of Hobart and William Smith Colleges and holds Masters degrees from The George Washington University and Mercy College. She is pursuing her doctorate in Cultural Foundations of Education from Syracuse University. When Lucy Washed Ashore is her first novel.
