About the Author

Amanda Vernon is a recording artist of soulful pop music. This singer, pianist, and composer has shared her original music across the U.S. and in six foreign countries, at venues as diverse as World Youth Day in Sydney, Australia, and Madrid, Spain, to Lambeau Field for Monday Night Football. In 2018, she released Secretos Navideà±os, her eighth album. Originally from the Midwest, Amanda resides in Phoenix, Arizona, with her husband and their spunky collection of children. Matt Fase, CSC, was born and raised in Rockford, Michigan. He attended the University of Notre Dame, graduating with a BA in Theology and Master of Divinity. He professed Perpetual Vows to the Congregation of Holy Cross in 2014. Since his priestly ordination in 2015, Fr. Matt has served as the Associate Pastor of Holy Redeemer Church in Portland, Oregon, and as the Campus Minister for Retreats and Athletic Chaplain of Stonehill College.
