Rolf McEwen is a photographer, writer, and editor. He has written a poetry and plays including The Honeymoon, The War, The Joseph Story, Esther the Queen, and The Institute. He created adaptations for Moliere plays such as The Miser, The Middle-Class Gentleman, Tartuffe, Ladies of Learning, and The Hypochondriac. He wrote a how-to book regarding theatre arts programs entitled How to Build a Drama Program, describing how to create a successful and financially profitable high school drama program.
His sense of humor is apparent in a coffee-table book about how to cope with a boring job--Survival Tactics for Office Workers. A book of witty proverbs provides a humorous touch to advice about sex in Teen Sexuality--A Humorous Guide Book. He wrote a collection of poems entitled Amazing World.

McEwen earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Puget Sound and a Master of Education degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. He studied art, architecture, music, and history in Rome and Vienna, and traveled throughout Europe.
