Everyone has questionable pasts they'd rather no one knew about and such is the case for best friends- Cat, Liz, Celeste, Tangie, and Vanessa. If they had their way, their shocking and dishonorable pasts would stay buried deep beneath the innocent but misguided smiles. They all have scandalous and shameful things lingering in their pasts and soon they'll find out the "apple" hasn't fallen too far from the "tree". Not only are they battling their own demons, but also those from generations past and they'll soon run smack dab into the hidden, less than desirable pasts of their parents. The threat of exposure sends everyone scrambling for secrecy as questions arise concerning their dark family histories. Everyone struggles to keep their skeletons in the closet, but apart from acknowledging and exposing the secrets, repetition is inevitable and the generations to come are destined for destruction. What they don't know can not only hurt them, but it can kill them.
