Overview

Ladies take charge when the gentlemen play hard to get

The mysterious Miss Meredith Thorn and her beloved cat, Fortune, run an employment agency to help gentlewomen down on their luck. Odd how all their matches end up in matrimony.

Enjoy a duet of warm, witty romances from the bestselling Fortune's Brides series by award-winning author Regina Scott:

  • Never Romance a Rogue—Already half in love, determined Lady Belle Dryden plays matchmaker to the mysterious Owen Canady, a gentleman by birth, a pauper by circumstance, and a con man by necessity. When his secrets are revealed, can he convince the lady who's never heard no to say yes to him? "If you enjoy romance, tough choices with high stakes, and clever personalities, then this will be a novel you don't want to miss." Author Susan Marlene.
  • Never Love a Lord—When spunky Petunia Bateman is awarded a title, the man she once loved comes calling, to her chagrin. Lord Ashforde's family history has convinced him that cool heads must prevail when choosing a bride. Surrounded by intrigue, can he convince her, and himself, to give their love another try? "A fun, clean Regency romance that will really pull you in." Melissa's Bookshelf

About the Author

Regina Scott started writing novels in the third grade. Thankfully for literature as we know it, she didn’t actually sell her first novel until she had learned a bit more about writing. Since her first book was published, her stories have traveled the globe, with translations in many languages including Dutch, German, Italian, and Portuguese. She is now the author of more than 65 works of warm, witty romance, and more than 1.5 million copies of her books are in reader hands. She and her husband of 30 years reside in the Puget Sound area of Washington State on the way to Mount Rainier. Regina Scott has dressed as a Regency dandy, driven four-in-hand, learned to fence, and sailed on a tall ship, all in the name of research.
