Overview

About the Author

Eldon (Big Hood-- short for Hoodie.E ) McCraine hails from the New Orleans area. He is a talented singer and writer who grew up in a home filled with talented family. Everything from writing stories to music ranging from Gospel to Classic Rock, with siblings, like his brother TRU3NOLA, who is also an accomplished artist in the music business. Not only is Big Hood a singer but is also an accomplish Emcee who, at that time, was juggling two groups the ArtPharm and The Fellaz with both groups being highly successful. His first book (Wendigo 5) is based on these two groups. Beginning his career at the age of ten, the art of writing came easily as he began doing poetry and writing music for himself and writing for other groups. As a youth who was performing with groups twice his age, Big Hood learn to hone his skills of writing and creativity from performing and speaking in countless concerts and venues in and around the New Orleans areas and abroad. The one who was never afraid of an audience, Big Hood would insert himself into the poetry and musical atmosphere. Music and writing flows threw the veins of Big hood as he creates words through poetry and music that will bring back the essence of what it all use to stand for and what use to mean.
