"Dad, what is this?" I questioned, concernedly, as I followed him from his barracks quarters. "What war are we fighting here? Who is project omega?"
"Hop in the van with Apep, girl." Caesar said, slowly ushering me the rest of the way. "I will carefully explain as we go along."
I nodded slowly and uncertainly, as I did exactly as told and soon we pulled off away from the dubious scene.
"The warlord, Set, is planning a strategic attack on our western borders." Dad carefully began. "His brother, Osiris, is currently the leader in charge of our armed forces, and Set plans to overthrow him sometime during his third or forth reich. We cannot let that happen."
"What steadily do you suppose we do, Captain?" I asked.
"I will use you as my new protege." He said, slowly nodding toward me. "You will come with me. Together, as gods, and as one we can stop Set and end this war quickly; the day before it starts with Apep as well, by our side."
"I am more than way ahead of you, Captain Desoto." Wendy agreed.
