About the Author

Cécilia was born and raised in Athens. With dual Greek and French nationality, she speaks both languages on a daily basis. After studying literature in Paris, she moved to Greece, where she worked in the cultural sector for ten years, before turning to teaching and writing French language manuals for Greek students. Cécilia spends her winters in Athens and her summers on the island of Naxos.

With a French mother and Greek father, Katia has lived in both France and Greece and has always moved back and forth between two countries, languages and cultures.
After studying philosophy and cultural management, she specialized in cultural mediation and educational programs, working in in Paris and, for the last fifteen years, in Athens.
Katia's greatest joy is helping Greek friends to discover France and French friends to discover Greece.
