Overview

When lightning strikes, you never know where you'll end up . . . or when.

They say it's rare for a person to survive a lightning strike, but that's exactly what happened when Hunter shoved a time card into an antique punch clock. Not only did he survive the hit, he was sent back in time to 1963. Hunter finds himself trapped in a strange new place, where computers and cell phones don't exist, people don't realize that cigarettes will kill you, and Tarzan is the biggest superhero.
Hunter's new friends in weirdo world, Bobby, Eddie, Davey, and Roy, agree to let him hide out in their treehouse, teach him to ride an actual bicycle, and get him to join their pickup baseball team. The only hitch to his new life is that he misses his home. Hunter must convince the guys that he really is from the year 2010 before they'll help him figure out a way to get home.

About the Author

Cathy Seckman has been writing for publication since 1985, when she left dental hygiene temporarily to take a job as lifestyles editor for a small daily newspaper. Since then she has published thousands of newspaper articles, hundreds of magazine articles, a few encyclopedia entries, better than a hundred indexes, and a dozen or so short stories.
In 2011, Cool Well Press published her first novel, a young adult time travel fantasy, 'Weirdo World,' available on Amazon and Nook.
In 2012, she indie-published 'Bad Moon Rising,' a murder mystery set in the year between Woodstock and the Kent State shootings, with fellow authors Debbie Schukert and Darlene Torday. 'Bad Moon Rising' is available on Amazon for Kindle, and will soon be available in paperback from Create Space.
'H2O Mysteries,' a collection of short stories by the authors of 'Bad Moon Rising,' was indie-published on Amazon in May 2013.
Her Arcadia Publishing Images of America title, 'East Liverpool,' was published in 2015.
Dental hygiene is still a part of her life, and she divides her writing time between indexing, fiction, and non-fiction. Hobbies include motorcycling, camping, hiking, traveling, winemaking, and gardening/canning.
She welcomes comments at cathy@cathyseckman.com.
