‘Weird Tales Volume 2’ (1885) was written by famous German Romantic author E.T.A. Hoffmann. The story also inspired the film ‘The Nutcracker and the Four Realms’ (2018), starring Keira Knightley, Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren.
