About the Author

My name's John Aubrey Anderson. I write Christian fiction… or, better said, TRUTH IN FICTION… namely, suspense novels written to entertain and enthrall and to sink the talons of eternal truth into the hearts of any who draw near.
I was born and raised in the Mississippi cotton country… five miles north of the setting I chose for my first novel. The old hometown is within a rifle shot of two rivers, a bayou, a double handful of lakes, and endless acres of woods. Add that backdrop to a culture that offered an umbrella of protection for children while allowing pre-teen boys to roam the countryside with firearms and fishing poles, and you come up with an environment that would provoke the envy of Tom Sawyer. In those surroundings, millions of day-by-day adventures linked themselves to become my boyhood.
My wife and I met in Mrs. Smith's Kindergarten – now, with college, careers, and fifty-some-odd years of marriage behind us, we find ourselves in Texas – a short ride south of the Red River. Simply put… she's immersed in leading several women's Bible studies; I write novels about warfare – spiritual and physical – with a blending of romance.

First, let me say this and get it out of the way. John Aubrey Anderson has in a matter of a few months become one of my favorite authors. His books are among those that will always remain in my possession. I couldn't possibly think of parting with them. They're too important for what they teach and how they entertain. Entertaining while teaching valuable truths is one of those things I want to learn to do in my own writing.

Anderson continues to excel with memorable characters. From the southern belle Caroline "Ceedie" Davis to the fresh-faced agent Jeff Wagner, he gets in the heads of his characters and brings them to life on the page. The world created here is one you are not prepared to leave when finishing the book.

He also does a masterful job with the tension and suspense. There isn't quite as much action as AD, but he skillfully works the struggle - playing it out without going overboard.
