About the Author

Brian Cosgrove was a member of the Royal Air Force and was awarded the OBE for services to microlight aviation. His passion for flight led to a fascination with meteorology, and he was the author of several books on the subject, including Pilot's Weather, The World of Weather, and Eyewitness: Weather. He died in 2010.
