WCPS Poetry Friends Garden: A Collection of the Poems and Art by Members of the Washington DC Chinese Poetry Society (WCPS)
Hui Han, the 15th President of the Washington DC Chinese Society (WCPS), created a new semi-monthly poetry and art column, the Poetry Friends Garden (PFG), in two local Chinese Newspapers in 2020. The goal is to cultivate readers' interest and love for Chinese classical poetry and art, seek like-minded friends, and help the WPCS prosper and grow.
Now, the editorial team has compiled selected works from issues 1-48 of the PFG (2020-2021) into a unique inaugural volume of this WCPS-PFG book, just in time to give the authors a perfect Tiger Year gift! This exquisite book of poetry, calligraphy and paintings has eight chapters that can be enjoyed by people from all walks of life: The WCPS' 25th Anniversary Celebration; Congratulations and Birthday Wishes; Harmony Among Poetry Friends; Parents: Filial Love; Chanting of Four Seasons; The Covid-19 Pandemic; Mélange and Excellent Articles.
