Charlie Watson didn't realize his regular stop at the diner that morning was going to turn his world upside down and change him forever. A cross country truck driver, he lives his life a safe distance from people and relationships. When he offers to lead Jenny, a stranger, on his run from Arkansas, to California, he finds not only the struggle with maintaining his emotional fortress; Jenny's dangerous past pursues them both. Along the way, Charlie and Jenny discover a special connection and start dreaming about building a bed and breakfast together. However, as preparations for Watson Manor begin, they come across evidence of a young girl's abduction and, later, get mixed up in a murderous plot that threatens to separate them forever.
