Overview

Adolph (Adolfo) Caso has been writing poems since his high school days. Frequently, he adds photos to go with his very personal poems, often describing his inner being, but just as often commenting on the plight of mankind vis-a-vis modern history.

He writes in free verse, and his language flows in the form of single words, especially adverbs, and phrases.

About the Author

Adolfo was born in Italy of an American father and Italian mother. He finished the first grade there; but during the war, there were no classes. Having survived the War, he came to America in 1947 and was admitted to the sixth grade, not knowing any English and very little standard Italian. Nevertheless, he graduated from high school, Northeastern and Harvard University. A Colonel in the US Army, Adolfo would seem an unlikey person writing poetry, and in two languages.
