About the Author

T. Patrick Mulroe has been writing and telling stories since he was nine years old. In high school he was encouraged by his high school English teacher to 'do something with his writing' just before graduation. Prior to that he was not planning to attend college. Inspired by his teacher's words he attended community college where his writing was further encouraged by working on the college newspaper. He went on to obtain his BA in liberal arts with an emphasis on writing and journalism before moving to Boston and Cape Cod while working towards a Master's Degree.
While living on Cape Cod and attending classes in Cambridge T. Patrick's interest turned to fiction. The characters and stories in his novels were born from that time. His hometown of Oak Park, outside of Chicago, along with Boston and Cape Cod are often the settings for his novels. Spending summers on Cape Cod influenced his popular Beach Reads.

Through his fiction T. Patrick Mulroe combines his love of people and stories. More than anything else T. Patrick tries to create CHARACTERS a reader will never forget...and a STORY that keeps them turning the page.
