Overview

War Dawgs is a compelling, coming-of-age story written by retired Army Major Franklin D. Kestner, Sr. and James Livingston. It provides an incredible picture of army life in Korea from a veteran survivor of Chosin Reservoir Battle at 17 years old, a squad leader at 18 years old, and a 19-year-old Sergeant among Kulbes' Mongrels, D Company, 10th Engineer Combat Battalion. Dozens of photographs compliment this book written by the same authors of To the Last Man! Kulbes Mongrels at the Chosin.
