Overview

About the Author

Mike Zimmerli is an author, ghostwriter, and editor whose fingerprints can be found in over two dozen books, usually intentionally. Although most of his previous work has been as an editor, he is now writing and publishing his own series, The Blue Bridge Mysteries, featuring Jimmy Favreaux. He continues to work as a freelance editor. A Minnesota native, he has lived in several places between the northern and southern borders of the Gopher State. In 2004, Mike and his beautiful bride, Mary, abandoned their empty nest, sold everything, and moved to St. Marys, Georgia – as far south as you can go without stepping into Florida and as far east as you can go without getting your feet wet in the Atlantic.

After a lifetime of writing words for others – through radio, newspaper, blogs, and full-time ministry- Mike – partly prompted by the pandemic – became a freelance writer and editor in 2021. That year, he published his dad’s memoirs, One Soldier’s Story by Jacob Wesley Zimmerli, which recounts his experiences in the Pacific Theater of War in 1944-45, and began full-time freelance editing.

Two years later, after editing or ghostwriting over two dozen books, it was time for Mike to write under his own name, and Jimmy Favreaux was “born.” Zamboni Is Not A Pasta became the first installment of The Blue Bridge Mysteries, and Wanted: Dead or Alive (Again) continues where Zamboni left off.
