About the Author

Tim Gray, Ph.D. is the president of the Augustine Institute and is professor of Sacred Scripture at the St. John Vianney Theological Seminary. He holds a PhD in biblical studies from Catholic University of America. Dr. Gray’s dissertation, The Temple in the Gospel of Mark: A Study in its Narrative Role, is published by Mohr Siebeck and Baker Academic. Dr. Gray is the author of several books, and has teamed up with Jeff Cavins in the development of The Great Adventure Bible Study Series. A nationally-renowned speaker, Dr. Gray has filmed numerous series for EWTN. He resides in Denver with his wife, Kris, and their son Joseph.

Jeff Cavins is the director of the Archbishop Harry J. Flynn Catechetical Institute based in St. Paul, Minnesota. As the founding host of EWTN’s Life on the Rock, he has been recognized both nationally and internationally as an exciting public speaker who has a deep love for Jesus Christ and who communicates his zeal with clarity and enthusiasm. Over the past several years, Jeff has dedicated his life to developing The Great Adventure, the extremely useful and practical interactive Bible study system that enables students to understand the chronological flow of Scripture.
