Walking on the Mattress begins the second triad of texts in the Star of David series, describing a triangle pointing upwards. After going through all three earthly Worlds, Lena, the main character of the series, for the first time finds herself on the threshold of the Heavenly World and finds out that you can live in it for your own pleasure, just doing what you love, and He cares about the daily bread, Who can do it. Lena is also surprised to find that her favorite activity is not enough for complete happiness, and begins to think about love and jealousy, about life and death, and make plans on how to make all people on Earth happy at once.
