About the Author

R. E. York is a Minnesota-based poet and author who will, when presented with the choice, always choose a storybook over a textbook. Although she wishes to pursue a career in psychology as a licensed therapist, writing is one of her favorite hobbies, and the number of times she has been told to "just publish a book already" was honestly starting to get a bit unbearable. (But she does love her friends and family for the endless encouragement.)
When not at work or typing away at the computer, York can be found outside, sitting on the back steps and admiring the sky, thinking of how lucky she is to have you.
