Walden The Prequel
Walden has been the school teenagers want to go to since 1660. Influence and the guarantee of success after the two-year programme hasn't thwarted applications from pouring in, even some fifty years after corporal punishment has virtually disappeared from education. Not at Walden.
With great privilege comes great responsibility and the prefects of Walden School are not elected based on popularity, but on their character, integrity and with the knowledge that they will carry out most of the discipline required of their peers. During the summer holiday, eight senior pupils return to learn what it means to lead the school – just as it has been led since 1660.

In this prequel to the series, you will meet the people with influence; some who are not so keen on the school and others who are not so amused at not having been made prefect.

Welcome to Walden.

About the Author

Bella Bryce is a twenty-something author of literary fiction in the domestic discipline genre who enjoys writing in sub-genres like light age-play, contemporary romance, time travel, historical and school fiction. Her stories all have a direction and a guiding inclination of some kind. They will challenge readers to look at themselves and reflect on their own behaviour, thoughts and belief systems. She regularly takes readers through themes like forgiveness, pain, trauma, bitterness, healing, reconciliation and how traditional discipline helps along the way. Most importantly, Bella doesn’t allow perfect characters in her books – they are all flawed and in need of redemption just like we are. She always includes personal circumstances or memories in her writing, but those that are fact from fiction shall remain undisclosed.

Bella and her handsome husband relocated from England in 2013 and now live in the mid-Atlantic region of the US.
