Overview

Centuries ago, he decreed that fae were responsible for the suffering of humans. From then on, all children in Revenali were raised to become his warriors-Arius' - responsible for the elimination of fae from the world; striving to tear down the Veil that separated their realms. Slowly, but surely. 

Lacuna was one of these warriors now. And for her first official mission, she must assassinate a female faerie referred to as Sonai. Seemingly, she's hiding out at a university in Podim, Ohio. Yet upon meeting Sonai, Lacuna begins to realize quite a few things about herself that she never questioned before. Things that not only reshape the meaning behind her existence, but the message that he, Marcus Revenali, left behind as well.

About the Author

Kayla Butler is a young adult fantasy author born and raised in Bedford, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. She is the oldest of her four siblings; one brother and three sisters, and has two amazing parents she cares for very much. She aspires to bring more fantasy stories starring queer black women into the world and she hopes that anyone who reads her work will continue to support her career in writing in the future.
Born in Toronto and guided by her Jamaican heritage, Stacey Marie Robinson is a communications specialist, entertainment enthusiast, and music lover. Her studies in communications brought her to Windsor, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan, where she trained as a journalist before returning home to Scarborough, where she currently resides. Stacey's creative content highlights contemporary Black Canadian life and Caribbean culture across the Diaspora; she has also produced several literary events and workshops for writers. Stacey enjoys playing the piano and guitar, attending music festivals and concerts, and providing support for DJs, Caribbean carnivals, and independent artists.
Ohio's own international Speaker, and Author Jameel Davis is a positive and highly respectable man. He is a man of change and an encouraging leader who is dedicated to promoting kindness, understanding and hope. Davis is committed to sharing his stories and empowering others with his motivational talks, inspiring poetry and books. His most recent accomplishment was being selected by former Executive Director of Cuyahoga County Public Library, Sari Feldman as featured author for their Beyond The Book Jacket Series back in September 2019.
