About the Author

About The Author
Jane R. Wood is a former schoolteacher who enjoys writing stories for kids set in locations rich in history. While her two sons were growing up, she often took them to St. Augustine to see the historical celebrations and re-enactments. Today she still enjoys strolling through the picturesque streets of this historic city. "Voices in St. Augustine" was her first book, but she has three other books in this series that feature the same main characters. Mrs. Wood has also been a newspaper writer and television producer. She lives in Jacksonville, Florida, not far from the "Nation's Oldest City." You can learn more about her at www.janewoodbooks.com.
