About the Author

C.R. Clark is a 9th generation American and feels blessed by God to be so. His ancestry lost several from families, starting from the 1750s, that fought for freedom in the Revolutionary War, the American Civil War and World War II. What is not lost on Clark is the price paid by so many in different creeds.
Receiving his higher education in Iowa, he lived the majority of his life in Virginia. The appreciation of the meaning and the cost of war was deeply etched by walking battlefields that abound in Virginia, which was called, 'The Seat of the Civil War.'
Clark is a voracious reader and student of the 19th century, thus has chosen to write on and about. He feels this era is misrepresented and misunderstood to new generations. Possibly a museum of interest and thought might be sustained by his work.
C.R. Clark is an Elder in the Restoration Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, a 6th generation ordained Elder. He believes in the King James Bible and the Book of Mormon, given to Joseph Smith the martyr.
